Tickly: 30-Day Challenges · Effective October 27, 2026
Tickly is an Android app published by TNPixel ("we", "us"). The short version: your workouts, streaks and body measurements stay on your phone. Tickly has no account and no server of ours that stores your data. This policy lists what is processed and by whom.
What stays on your device
- Your challenges, completed days, streaks, feelings after workouts, body log (weight and measurements), custom challenges and settings are stored in the app's private storage. We do not receive them and cannot read them.
- Spoken guidance uses your phone's built-in text-to-speech engine.
- Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone.
- Camera rep counting (optional, Premium) analyses the live camera image on your phone with ML Kit pose detection. No photo or video is saved or uploaded.
- Scanning a challenge QR code uses Google's code scanner, which runs on your phone and does not need camera permission for Tickly.
- Export my data creates text you choose to share with another app. Tickly does not upload it.
Health Connect (optional)
If you turn it on, Tickly writes each finished workout to Health Connect as an exercise session. Tickly never reads your health data. You can turn it off in the app or revoke access in Health Connect at any time.
Services used by the app
- Google AdMob shows ads to free users. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location (from IP address) and usage data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and similar regions you are asked for consent through Google's consent form. Premium removes ads.
- Google Play processes payments. We use RevenueCat, a service provider, to manage Premium. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase and subscription status and basic technical information (app version, device model, OS and country). We do not receive your name, email or payment details.
Permissions
- Internet: ads and purchases.
- Notifications: your daily reminder.
- Vibration: optional workout cues.
- Camera: only if you use the optional rep counter.
- Health Connect (write exercise): only if you turn it on.
Tickly does not use your location, microphone, contacts or files.
What we do not do
- We do not require an account.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs of our own.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Children
Tickly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
- Delete everything in Me → Delete all my data, or uninstall the app.
- Change ad consent in the consent form when it appears, and reset or limit your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions.
- Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD and similar laws) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of personal data held about you. We hold no personal profile about you; for data held by Google or RevenueCat, contact them or write to us and we will help.
Not medical advice
Tickly offers general fitness guidance. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app or on its Google Play page.
